Leigh Park Strategic Project
The Leigh Park Community Board asked the council to
improve on-street parking issues using Liveability fund money and
supplied a list of 15 roads for investigation. Two sites were
selected for enhancement: Iping Avenue and Kingsworthy Road.

- Nine trees were planted around the green in late April 2008 -
paving scheme is now complete

- Planting at Kingsworthy Road is complete, creating a pleasant
landscaped area with its own character.
- The trees at the frontage and centre create depth and break up
the space.
- The trees are also intended to create a small level of privacy
within the space.
