Urban Design and Landscape

The Urban Design and Landscape Team promotes the value of good design throughout the Borough and is made up of design professionals incorporating urban design, landscape design, nature conservation and graphics support. We champion a high quality 'Public Realm' and explore strategic opportunities for its delivery. We undertake environmental enhancement projects from concept design to implementation stage. The Team also provides urban design and landscape comments on planning applications. We work in partnership with other Council Departments and the local community to deliver environmental regeneration.
