Paying a Penalty Charge Notice
Penalty Charge Notices (
PCNs) are subject to the
following charges. The charges you are due to pay will be
printed on the PCN or the documentation received from us.
- £25/35 for payment made up to 14 days from the
date of Notice issue.
- £50/70 for payment made between 15 and 56
days from the date of Notice issue (please note that formal
proceedings against the Owner will commence 28 days from date of
Notice issue)
- £75/105 for payment made after the issue
of a Charge Certificate
It is your responsibility to ensure that any payment is
received by the Parking Office within the stated time
periods.
With all payments, please ensure that you tell us the
PCN number on the
parking ticket. This will ensure that the payment can be allocated
correctly. Failure to supply this information will result in the
payment not being credited against your fine and recovery action
being started.

For your convenience, payments can be made 24 hours a day, 7
days a week by using our automated telephone payment system. Call
0845 130 4466 (local call rate).
By Post
(cheques and postal orders only)

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Havant
Borough Council.
Your
PCN was
issued in an envelope; you may use this envelope to post your
payment to us.
No cash payments. To avoid any
claim for full or increased charge, please ensure that payments are
made with consideration to mail delivery times. If paying by
cheque, please allow seven days to clear.
Please fill in your contact details on the rear of the parking
ticket, and include it within the envelope along with your payment.
If you require a receipt you must enclose a stamped addressed
envelope.
