Information on scams
Environmental Health has been informed that there are three
companies running a scam mailshot operation
throughout the country involving writing to business premises
and asking them for between £125 and £249 to ensure they comply
with health and safety law.
If you have received a mailshot from any of the folowing
companies:
Health and Safety Enforcement Agency (HSEA)
Health and Safety Compliance Agency
(HSCA)
Health and Safety Registration
Enforcement Division (HSRED)
you would be advised to read a Press Release that has
been issued by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), which will
give you all the information you need to know. Follow the

Our advice if you receive any such communications, is to
ignore them and, if you have any concerns, contact the HSE's
