Examples of Enhancement Schemes in the Borough 

 
The council is responsible for the design and implementation of environmental enhancement schemes throughout the borough. Projects range from tree and shrub planting,  pathway and bridleway improvements, public art projects, through to major highways schemes and stream restoration. It contributes to landscape and nature conservation policy work in development plans and comments on urban design and landscape aspects of plannning applications.

 

 

Programmed works for 150m metre length of the high street to be repaved.
