Hampshire Operational Flood Plan

The Borough acts with the County Council, Environment Agency, Fire, Police, Water Companies and other partners during times when flooding - either from rivers / ditches / streams, the sea, groundwater, or sewage - is happening. The Borough's first responsibility is to ensure the safety of the public and we expect and assume that people living in areas known to be susceptible to flooding (along the coast, or near rivers) will make their own preparations. If you live in a flood plain, please register with the Environment Agency's FLOODLINE service on 0845 988 1188 to receive automated telephone flood warnings.
