Information about Funding
The Council recognises the valuable
contribution made by the voluntary sector organisations within the
Borough. Havant Borough Council no longer has a general
small grants programme We will endeavour to
assist organisations to seek out sources of
funding, and will actively support any suitable applications to
major funding sources such as the central government, the European
Community and the National Lottery funds. For general advice on

Leigh Park Community Chest
Small grants of up to £500 are
available to support Community Associations, tenants groups,
self-help groups and voluntary/communty groups that support
projects that benefit Leigh Park residents. For an

National Lottery
Out of every pound spent on the
National Lottery 28 pence goes to the various Lottery

Local Network Fund
Grants from £250 - £7000 are
available for small voluntary groups that work with children and
young people. This programme comes to an end in March 2008
