Complaints of Hate Crime

 
Definition:

 

Hate crime and hate motivated harassment is action motivated by malice or ill will towards a social group.

 

Hate crime and harassment can be perceived by the victim or any other person and may be based on any characteristic, including age, disability, sex, gender identity, race, religion/belief and or sexual orientation.

 

Examples of harassment include verbal (abuse/intimidation/phone calls), physical (assault), property (damage/graffiti) and visual (leaflets/posters/text messages). This list is not exhaustive.
