RADAR Keys for Disabled Toilets

 
A key for Disabled Toilets which are wider than usual with handrails and facilities to enable easy use.

What is a Radar Key?

The Radar Key allows the holder 24 hour access to toilets throughout the Country. It is only given to those people with disabilities.
 

Who can purchase a Radar Key?

The key can be purchased by anybody with a disability (proof of disability is not required).
 

Where can I buy one?

You can buy a key by coming into the Civic Offices and paying at the Cashiers section.
Keys are also available from the Beachlands office on Hayling island
 
Office times :
 
Summer: 1st April to 30th September 9 to 17:30
Winter 1st October to 31st March

9 to 16:30

9 to 16:00 (Fridays)

 

How much does the key cost?

The key costs £3.00. The money will be refunded upon return of the key and production of the receipt of purchase.
 

How long can I keep the key for?

You can keep the key for as long as you need to.
 

Where are the toilet facilities suitable for people with disabilities?

All council owned public conveniences have a toilet for people with disabilities, excluding those at Bound Lane on Hayling Island. Click here to see a map of where the public toilets can be found.
