Public Conveniences
The Council provides 21 public
conveniences at locations across the Borough. There is an ongoing
programme of refurbishment and redevelopment. The full list of
public conveniences is shown below, together with a map of the
Borough showing their locations. Opening hours vary, with some
closing for the winter season; most have baby-changing
facilities.
All conveniences have facilities for
the disabled apart from Bound Lane on Hayling Island. Disabled
users are able to purchase a 'RADAR' key from Customer Services and
the Beachlands Office. These keys give 24 hour access to disabled
toilets for the whole country, even when the rest of the block is
closed to the general public.
Please note that additional
conveniences are available privately, often within large shops,
libraries, and indoor shopping centres; these are not under the
control of the Council.
