You are now able to find out the Valuation history of your (or
indeed any) property, including which Council Tax band it is in now
and whether this has been changed in the past, from the Valuation
Office's website. You are also able to submit an application
on-line to have your property revalued in a limited number of
circumstances. Please note however that valuation bands are
set assuming the value of the property in 1991, not its current
value.
