Open during term time, the South
Downs College Restaurant and Bistro has gained a reputation for the
quality of food and service provided by students as part of the
Catering and Hospitality courses.
The Bistro is open for morning
coffee and luncheon from Wednesday to Friday each week. A
range of freshly prepared plated meals are served at extremely
reasonable prices in an informal bistro atmosphere. Although
bookings are not required, guests are advised to telephone prior to
visiting. Orders for lunch are taken between 12.00pm and
1.15pm.
For a more formal dining experience,
the college Restaurant serves table d'hote lunches commencing at
12.00pm from Wednesday to Friday each week. A range of three
course menus, including coffee are offered in the comfortable, air
conditioned and fully licensed restaurant at prices from
£7.50.
A superb 'fine dining' dinner menu
is offered on Wednesday evenings commencing at £12.50 for three
courses and coffee.
Reservations must be made for lunch
and dinner in the Restaurant.
