The Plough and Barleycorn is a
recently refurbished converted farmhouse with a welcoming
atmosphere for the whole family. A large feature fireplace
and friendly helpful staff add ambience to the building making it a
delightful place to visit.
It is excellent for business
lunches, meetings and social gatherings both in the main restaurant
and in the specially designed function room which can cater for up
to 30 diners or a slightly larger number for more informal
occasions.
The menu is traditionally based with
steaks; grills and our special home made pies. For the more
adventurous, try one of the daily specials. A lite bite menu
is available for those with smaller appetites. Booking is
advisable for the popular carvery available 12pm-6pm every
Sunday.
