Beachlands
CURRENT CHARGES
PLEASE NOTE THAT BANK HOLIDAYS ARE INCLUDED IN THE CHARGING
PERIOD
The following details cover only car parking provided by the
Borough Council - additional facilities may be available, provided
by the private sector.
A map showing the general location of the Beachlands car parks
is available on the parking introduction page, but the link from
each car park name in the list below links to a detailed location
plan provided by MultiMap. Charges apply in the following Council
operated car parks:
Eastoke,
Bound Lane,
Chichester Avenue,
Central Beachlands,
West,
Ferry and
Nab.
Car parks have facilities for Season ticket users - prices on
our 'Season tickets' page.
The disabled bays are reserved for official badge holders 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. There is a charge for disabled
drivers displaying the official badge. Maximum stay in long stay
car parks is 24 hours.
The charges quoted below are valid as at 1 June
2007. Always check the car park notice boards for current
rates. For details of Season Tickets etc., see 'Free and
Season tickets' page from menu.
The charging system applies to cars, vans, motor caravans, and
horse boxes (access hours for horses and horse boxes accessing the
beach are: 1st May - 30th September 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 a.m.; 1st
October to 30th April, no restriction).

Please note that all car parks (where signs permit vehicle
class) allow parking of coaches, and cars/vans with
trailers/caravans (motor caravans are permitted to park up to 10.00
p.m. only.) on payment of the appropriate all day rate as
follows:
£7 Monday - Sunday during March, April, May, September
and October
£9 Monday - Sunday during June, July and August

Charges apply 8 am to 8 pm as follows:
March, April, May, September and
October:
Up to 1 hour = £1, up to 2 hours = £2, up to 3 hours =
£3, over 3 hours = £4
June, July and August:
Up to 1 hour = £1, up to 2 hours = £2, up to 3 hours =
£3, up to 4 hours = £4, over 4 hours = £5
November, December, January and
February:
No charges
