Havant is a major
interchange station on the main south coast rail network, close to
Portsmouth and with other local stations at
Bedhampton,
Emsworth and
Warblington. There are frequent direct services to
Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester, Brighton and London, and
a direct weekend service to Southampton Airport. Almost
3 million passenger journeys start or finish at a Havant
Borough station each year, with the most recent statistics showing
that our stations have experienced continued growth in passenger
numbers despite the effects of the recession - a 15% increase over
5 years.
