Adult Services provides support and care for older people to help them to live as independently as possible within the community.We offer a range of services such as, providing people with information about the care services available, giving people an assessment of the help they might need and offering practical help for some people.

It is very difficult to come to the decision that residential care is what your friend or relative needs. If you want to talk things through you can contact your nearest Adult Services office for an assessment.

Adult Services also provides a range of other services for older people including day care, occupational therapy as well as specific help for those who have sight or hearing problems.
