Graffitti is antisocial and undermines a sense of pride in the surroundings. The Council arranges for the removal of graffiti from Council property and the public highway where it is economically possible. You can report graffiti by using our online form.

.

Graffiti often affects the quality of life in an area and can lead to an increase in the fear of crime. Havant Borough Council works with residents and local businesses to remove offensive graffiti within one working day and other graffiti as soon as practicable. Graffiti 'tags' are recorded and passed onto the police and several national databases.

Those found committing this offence will be reported for prosecution for the act of criminal damage; a fixed penalty notice can also be given.
