Helping out in your local wood / conservation area

What better way is there to Get Active whilst volunteering for your local conservation group?

Most local conservation groups spend one day a month working on the land and you can volunteer to take part in these days!

I can recommend getting involved as i myself have recently joined Friends of Park Wood, located in Waterlooville. To get involved i registered on the www.do-it.org.uk  where you can search through positions to match your criteria (days / times / type of activity). Below are some photos from the volunteering i did with Friends of Park Wood.
