Don’t lose your right to vote
Havant Borough Council is reminding households
that time is running out for you to complete your electoral
registration form in order to ensure your name appears on the new
register.
Every household in the Borough has now
received a registration form. However, more than 3500 in the
Borough are yet to return forms.
Please complete the form and return it as soon
as possible, or, if there are no changes in your household you can
register by telephone or on-line. Details of how to do this are
explained on the form. If you don’t, you and other people within
your household risk being removed from the Electoral
Register.
Not only would you lose your right to vote,
but you may also have difficulty opening a bank account or
obtaining credit if your name does not appear in the Register of
Electors.
