Cycle Schemes

From these pages you will find details of the various schemes we are carrying out to support the improvement of cycling facilities across the Borough. These schemes are carried out in partnership with other organsiations such as Sustrans and the County Council, and use funding provided by builders of housing and commercial developments as well as from grant schemes such as 'Safe Routes to School' and 'Links to School'.

The schemes are carried out in accordance with our plans to develop a comprehensive cycle network across the Borough, to meet the need to increase the proportion of journeys made by sustainable means.
