Examination of the Core Strategy

Havant Borough Council submitted the Core Strategy to the government for examination by an independent Planning Inspector on Wednesday 2 June 2010. Inspector, Mr Geoff Salter MRTPI was appointed by the Planning Inspectorate to conduct the Examination and determine whether the Core Strategy was sound.

 

The examination involved a pre-hearing meeting followed by public hearing sessions that sat from 7-16 September 2010.

 

The Inspector's Final Report was available January 2011.
