Advice for businesses

Havant Borough Council is continuing its Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and is working closely with the Government, other local authorities, the HPA and the NHS .

We have comprehensive plans in place to maintain and deliver critical services should they be needed.

Local businesses need to consider BCP plans to maintain their businesses during emergencies. For more advice please visit the web sites below.

It has been brought to our attention by the British Chambers of Commerce that some small and medium sized businesses do not feel they have had sufficient information about how they may be affected by a swine flu pandemic. We would therefore like to remind you of the following publication which has been produced by the Government for business:

Business risk guidance >> (external website PDF 531Kb)
Local Government Association: Swine flu - Latest news and analysis >> (external website)
