Council rooms for hire
Having trouble finding somewhere to hold a
meeting, not sure where to have a children's party? Well, you need
look no further as here at the civic offices we have various
different size rooms that you can hire.
Our meeting rooms, when not being used for council business, can
accommodate between 10 and over 100 people depending on the room
and your requirements of course and the hire also includes the use
of projectors, videos and furniture etc. The Council Chamber, the
largest of the rooms is permanently set out in a 'conference style'
and will suit businesses and voluntary/community groups who want to
hold a conference or annual general meetings for example. We hold a
liquor license and for an additional cost we can also provide a
full range of catering services from tea and biscuits to a sit down
meal.
Flexibility is the key and we will always do our best to
accommodate you, regular bookings as well as one off meetings are
more than welcome. Normal hiring times are between 8am and 8pm,
Monday to Friday, although some discretion can be used if the hours
are not quite what you're after. The charges vary depending on your
requirements and quotes can easily be obtained
