Ann Smith

A textile artist, Ann uses a variety of
techniques and media in both 2D and 3D artworks. These include
dyes, stitch, batik and print on fabric; glass and wood.

Corrine Thorne
Corrine’s art is in
the form of wearable layers of fused glass, worn as pendants. Each
piece is individual which is the beauty of her work, created in her
microwave kiln from dichroic glass.
Charlotte Cornelius
Charlotte designs contemporary silver and 18ct yellow gold
jewellery. Influenced by the elements, her collections are tactile
and textural. Charlotte also creates unique pieces for clients,
often remodelling existing jewellery.

Cheryl Aldridge
Cheryl's work is influenced by texture and pattern found in
the landscape and organic life found washed up by the tide.

As an artist Christine’s influences and inspirations come

Hayling Arts
The group works on a wide range of media, mainly

The Art Group meets every Wednesday morning to enjoy
observational drawing, watercolour, pastel and acrylic and to

The beach huts (C Block) provide a unique exhibition
venue featuring the wide range of creative talent of the staff and
students at South Downs College including a 'film hut' screening

Thursday Art Group
The Thursday Arts Group meet weekly on Thursday
mornings following a programme of exploratory workshops under the
guidance of artist Richard Hipkiss. Different mediums are
encouraged.
