 Horizon logo Established in October 1997 Horizon Leisure Centres operate two multi purpose sports and leisure centres at Havant and Waterlooville in Hampshire.

 

Activities include swimming, gym, fitness classes, sports hall activities (badminton, 5-a-side football, table tennis etc), squash, indoor bowls & martial arts.

 

Forestry commission

 

   

The Forestry Commission is the government department responsible for the protection and expansion of Britain's forests and woodlands.

 

The Forestry Commission will be arranging a variety of events and activities throughout the year. These will be for free and open to everybody. Events and activities will be advertised on the notice board in Havant Thicket car park, in the local community and on our website. Solent Youth action

 Solent Youth Action empowers 16 -25 to develop as individuals, enjoy new challenges and make a positive contribution to the community through volunteering

 

Volunteering opportunities for 16-25 throughout South East Hampshire, from conservation to campaigning and youth work, mentoring and coaching opportunities.

Park community school logo

Park Community School offers a wide range of activities for anyone aged 0 – 100 years, from dawn till dusk.  We also offer a wide range of facilities for meetings, parties and adult and family learning

 

Activities include:

 

Pay as you use fitness suite (no monthly fee, no joining fee), Legs, Bums and Tums, Buggyfit, Boxercise, Tap Dancing, Strictly Come Dancing and Healthy Living / Eating Programmes.

 

 

Staunton country park

 For those wanting to get active, Staunton Country Park offers the perfect venue for keen walkers, cyclist, anglers and adventure seekers.

There are brand new walking trails and a dedicated cycle route, an orienteering course, well stocked ornamental lake and monthly guided walks.

With all of this on offer there's no excuse not to get active, whatever the pace!

 All at Cowplain Community School are determined that the school will play a full and active part at the heart of our local community. The governments "extended services" programme promotes extended community activity to establish optimum use of school opportunities available to students and local people.
