Leigh Park Task Force

 

Leigh Park area 

The area known as Leigh Park is situated in Havant Borough in South Hampshire.  It is comprised of 4 electoral wards Barncroft, Warren Park, Battins and Bondfield.  The estate boundary runs adjacent to the A3M in the West, borders Bedhampton ward in the south and runs out to the West Sussex boundary in the east.  Barncroft, Warren Park and Battins wards are separated from Bondfield ward by the Petersfield Road.

 

Purpose 

To enable the activities of partners in Leigh Park for the continued improvement of people’s lives in Leigh Park, West Leigh and Warren Park, under the Local Strategic Partnership structure.

The Task Force needs individuals that have the ability to unlock blockages and solve problems within their organisation to ensure action is taken.

 

The Task Force’s 5 Key Priorities

The Task Force should co-ordinate between partners and address the gaps and issues raised (this includes problems with internal processes)


• The essential function of the Task Force is to co-ordinate and enable
• The Task Force needs individuals that have the ability to unlock blockages and solve   problems within their organisation to ensure action is taken
• The Task Force should be a single point of focus for Leigh Park
•  The Task Force will co-ordinate to enable project teams to deliver in Leigh Park
• The Task Force should provide a visible leadership in Leigh Park
