Advice to Developers - Cycling Infrastructure
The following information is offered to developers who may wish
to, or be required to, provide cycling infrastructure on or near to
their sites.
The local authorities aim to ensure adequate cycle parking and facilities for cyclists and motorcyclists in all types of new development. This document is Havant's Guidance to developers for the amount of space to allocate on new developments for two-wheeled vehicle parking
The Department for Transport has published Local Transport Note 2/08. This is a design guide with a focus on the design of cycle infrastructure. Parts of its advice are equally appropriate to improving conditions for pedestrians. PDF, 3.3mb.
