Walking for Health provides people with the opportunity to take part in short, safe, sociable walks within local communities. And best of all its free! Each walk lasts about an hour and they take part within Havant and the surrounding areas including Hayling Island, Waterlooville and Bedhampton.
Exercise is an important addition to everyone’s lifestyle and can benefit and improve most health conditions. The walks are led by volunteer walk leaders who provide short, safe walks ideal for people looking to improve their health and wellbeing in a sociable and enjoyable way.
Walking for Health schemes rely on enthusiastic volunteers to help to keep them going. Becoming a volunteer walk leader requires no more than one hour per week and brings fantastic health and social benefits.
